This week we've been making Christmas arts and cards. This involved cards with 3D elements and crafting mini Christmas trees. We picked up some sticks outside and used whatever we could find in the classroom. This has been exciting because some children had to overcome their fear of operating hot glue gun. Because this process had tangible effect, the students were so eager to make them. Only minor burns and no tree looked the same! Room 18 is a very creative classroom where children don't have to make identical designs and follow the same proces.
