We found out about a student in Poland who adores New Zealand. His parents got in touch with a Polish Community in Auckland and asked if anybody could post him a card. Because we were learning about New Zealand this year, this was a perfect way of sharing our beautiful country. The students brainstormed their favourite New Zealand places and wrote their individual messages. The teacher wrote a message in Polish and we also composed a message in English. The children found out that a card from Poland is on its way. Will it get here by the end of the term?
