Tristar Gymnastics

This morning everyone was on time! It was fantastic to see all happy faces getting on a double-decker bus with excitement and anticipation! Room 3 sat upstairs, right at the front. After a few minutes of singing and a few children showing their homes on the way we arrived at Tristar gym. When we got inside and after a quick warm up we got divided into five groups. Our coaches guided the children through each routine. This was nothing compared to our gym set up we had at school. The gym was so big and exciting. Seeing the children try real, professional equipment was a fantastic reminder of our "Give it a Go!" phrase. Some were nervous trying new things but it was great to see a few children in Room 3 conquering their fears. In the afternoon we wrote about our experiences but I could see many children were very tired. A few asleep faces 'graced' our carpet during our afternoon story...
