Families

This week we were sharing our food in a virtual way. We learned about dishes from different cultures and we talked about our favourites. Some children made their own meals and helped their families with this everyday task. It was great to connect with the children and their whanau through the love of cooking, creating, eating and sharing knowledge.

  1. Kia ora Room 18,
Awesome to see such wholesome (and delicious) creativity and positivity happening through lockdown. I've been experimenting on some new recipes as well while at home. Would it be possible to share some of these recipes?

  2. Well done Room 18.
I see lots of delicious looking food that I would love to eat for dinner tonight! I have been doing lots of cooking, trying out some new recipes and making my usual favourites. Can you share some of your recipes with me when we are back at school?
