We needed to learn more about being respectful this week. First, two of our students engaged in a dramatic play to illustrate a tricky situation. Next, we described the language of this tricky situation. We compared two classrooms: respectful and disrespectful. Many children discovered that we have a choice on what type of classroom we can create. The students wiped off the behaviours that we don't want in Room 18. Simple, yet powerful. Last, we came up with a list of respectful behaviours as our learning reflection. The New Windsor Way.
We are a Y3-4 class who share our learning by being confident, creative, collaborative, respectful, responsible and resilient.
