Today we celebrated our learning about Pasifika cultures through dance at the school-wide assembly. We learned a Samoan Sasa dance with our buddy class, room 25. It was a great experience for our students to perform at the front of the whole school and our families. Our Pasifika students looked amazing in their traditional clothing. Our class, with Room 25, led a Pacific Greetings song and performed straight after. The whole term was about dancing. Even the teachers were practising a much loved song by the children for the last few weeks and presented their skills at the "Mystery Assembly" yesterday. After the teachers' colourful performance the children in Room 3 requested their teacher to dance with them in class.
