Matariki
New Windsor School celebrated 2019 Matariki this week. We engaged in Matariki art, waiata, kai and kani kani. Room 19 led school wide activities and many children went to get a moko on Friday. Some were so excited about it that we continued in class with our face paint. But their favourite thing was getting a saussage sizzle cooked by room 19.
